Anybody wanna Peanut
How do you fill 24 hours?
What about if you can’t leave your apartment?
We color and play. Legos. Video games and Kiddo commentary. Make a blank fort/tent. Watch a movie.
But…..
If I watch the Lion King one more time I will lose my mind.
Hey, look. The Princess Bride and we own it and she likes stories.
But, will a four year old sit thru a live action movie, especially with those themes and all that.
Well, fears were alleviated when she sat, squirmed a little and then got GLUED to the TV. She was All-In on The Princess Bride and we are so proud of her. She asked clarifying questions. She laughed at some of the jokes. She sat and watched and wanted to know how it would end. Then, she just kind of sat with it and didn’t say much, other than she wants to watch it again one day. Kiddo, like her mumma, needs to sit with things sometimes and spend a day or two thinking about them.
The fact that she will sit thru a live action movie, however, and follow along… That opens up so many doors for us. What can be next? What are some kid classics that we can start to show her? I ask aloud, yes, rhetorically, but comment! Toss in your two cents. We’d love to hear your thoughts on what movies she should get next.
We’ve done the Disney and Pixar thing with her. She loves Raya (Helped get us across the world) and Lion King and LK2. Toy Stories and Inside/Out and all the Pixars.
But what else could we show her?
Please, jump into comments and let us know.

Other than that, I have a kiddo story to tell, but I’ll need photo back ups before I can tell the story and that will have to wait until we are free and clear to leave and not spread Covid and death about.
J and I are no longer suffering. Much. Now, it’s more fatigue and lethargy. But even that is what it is. We don’t feel great, but it would be great to go to the market and shop. Instead, we find ways to fill the hours. Kiddo is bouncing off the walls. Thankfully, she is in a coloring mood. And Kiddo is post Covid too. So, she’s still napping mid-day and where she used to go to bed and stay there until 5:30-6am, now she’s sleeping until 7:30 and then coming to wake us. So, with her feeling it a little as well, that does make it a little easier.
So, for now, that’s life. I might jump in with random thoughts and writings in the days to come. I might just go quiet, as life is mundane and monotonous right now.
But, jump onto comments or email me or J with your movie suggestions. We’d love to hear it. Kiddo, I’d guess, would love to see it.
Thanks to all… For the well wishes. For the good thoughts. And for just reading and following along. Means the world to us. Hugs and our best.
Oh, and we got a pic of her Sous Cheffing and a mumma cuddle. :) Enjoy!

And Doc J.... I've been in the revenge business so long, now that it's over, I don't know what to do with the rest of my life." "Have you considered pirating?" My one question is, how the hell did a Dread Pirate Roberts film never get made? The Rock, Jack Black, Emma Stone as Roberts. Same style. Have fun with it. Ya know!!!!!
