Uphill battle

We might have a small kitchen, but that doesn’t mean I should give up on cooking.  In fact, I see it as a unique challenge.  Also, just because we are living in SEA, doesn’t mean we need to only eat like SEA or only use those flavors and ingredients.  We find a way to make it our own.

Last night, I made pork chops with kraut.  We found a place that does a good kraut.  So, we decided to German up the meal.  Pan fried with butter, broiled potatoes, and cuncumber (as Kiddo calls them) salad.

I’d call it a success.

We did have one snag during dinner.  It was Kiddo’s finger nail.  Her right handed pointer finger had a small snag in the nail.  She needed it fixed.  When asked why it couldn’t wait until after dinner….

Because, Dada, it’s on my pinchin' finger.  My pork chop pinchin' finger.  Watch!

She then pinched her first finger and thumb together in a pinching motion.

You learn something new everyday!!!!

Also, we did a bike ride yesterday.  Just Kiddo and me, doing some laps and practicing and giving Poley the full “new bike” experience.  Getting up inclines and ‘hills’ have been a challenge these last days.

Well…..

Super proud!!!!!!

As for me….

I love my Christmas gift and I had some fun with them and funked them up.  Here they are in action.  Awesome, right!!!!!

And before I go….

J shared this with me yesterday from her camera roll.  I’m not crying… it’s allergies.  Cutting onions.  Something in my eye!  LOL

Let’s go, Kiddo…. We’ve got 2023 coming and I’m sure you’re gonna melt my heart again and again.
