Lets Go Kiddo

A few more graduation pics to start things off.  Kiddo is just too darned cute to pass up the opportunity to post a few more pics.  Cap and gown, in her grad dress and munching on some sweets, and a few with Mumma just being cute. Other than that, she was cuddly with Mumma today and it was too sweet to not get some pics.  I could just watch Kiddo all day. Other than that, we are getting into summer mode easily.  Today was some pool time.  I needed to get to Tops and pick up a dinner protein, but I came up and splashed around for a while after I got back.  I have a feeling that summer is going to be a chill and good time. The real reason I’m posting today is because of the picture J and I got this morning.  Tomorrow and Tuesday are going to be packing and getting Vietnam ready, so I will be busy and in go mode, but I have a little time today, so I figured I’d post something.  I wanted to post the drawing we got.   That’s a chameleon in...

 I could probably spill 10000000000 words on the emotions and feelings.  It goes so quick and yet, every day is a year long, every month a decade, but here we are almost two years to the day that we started this adventure and Kiddo graduated Kinder.  IN THAILAND!  She is so bold, brave, courageous, daring, adventurous, kind, sweet, and just totally her. A quick shout out to J for her role as a teacher as well.  A few pics of her doing her thing as well.  And we were so so so happy that Nanny Beer could join us, as she has become part of our family here as well. Kiddo, mumma and I love you and are prouder than you can know.  We hope that one day you will, just to know this type of love.  

Our days are starting to wind down and vacay is coming, but I still have things to do.  I was able to shift things around and J’s been great with allowing me time to get those done.  We are going to do the packing early next week, but we still have this week to do and some of it life related and some trip related.  I was able to get some Vietnamese Dong the other day.  10,000 Thai Baht = 6.6 Million Vietnamese Dong.  Also, I LOVE foreign currency!  :) I also love the strange little things we get from time to time.  Last night, we got some rain.  Some pretty good rain.  The thunder wasn’t window rattling, more a good steady rain than a pouring storm, but it was right on top of us.  It felt like the lightening was coming from right above the building at points.  I snuck out to give it a look at one point and met a new friend.  I just dug the coolness of this moth.  THIS is a badass moth!  He flew away when I turned ...

It was a low key tenth anniversary.  Then again, after a decade and a kid, do we have the time or energy to really blow it out?   We ordered in Indian food.  Had a night.  Simple. The highlight of the night was the Kiddo cards.  We got these slipped under her bedroom door after bedtime and she is the sweetest and most thoughtful little love.  I mean, how can you NOT love this.  She is beyond thoughtful. Other than that, we got out to Decathlon today and updated some of our clothes and swimsuits and all of that for Vietnam.  Plus, Kiddo got some new sunglasses.  Otherwise, she got a few new shirts and shorts, plus a new swimsuit, so she is set.  I didn’t think getting changing room pics was kosher, so you’ll all just have to wait until she actually wears them for pics of the new threads in action.  After that, the highlight of Decathlon… The trampoline.   As for Kiddo, here’s some random pics of her being her.  Poley ...
