Immigration Hanger
I was back at the Immigration offices today to get my Certification of Residency processed and I remembered to take pictures this time. This building is HUGE. I got all my papers stamped and answered all the questions needed and off I went. All in all, pretty painless.
Kiddo got her Covid shot on Monday in the afternoon and we spent the rest of the day chilling. Watched Monsters Inc. and took it easy. As you can see, the nursing staff was ALL OVER Kiddo during this time. They tried to distract her and have her look away, but she wants to watch. She’s like Dada in that. I’m the same way. Let me see what’s going on. If it’s too much I’ll look away. She curious. And brave. So, she wants to look. And I just gave her my hand to squeeze if she got nervous. She was a trooper and didn’t flinch. One shot down… who knows how many to go. <Sigh>. Can we all please just Vax and Mask so the world can get back to something like normal!
We also went back to Decathlon so I could get a little more Basketball gear. Just some better shorts and shirts to hoop in. While there, I saw some headbands that were Kiddo sized and so I grabbed those for Kiddo so she could keep her hair out of her face when she doesn’t want it up in a bun or ponytail. I think she’s freakin’ adorable.
Lastly, the construction continues. The road is coming right along. Kiddo is thrilled and checks up on it every day. Yesterday, we sat on the steps for five minutes just so she could watch and wonder and talk and ask about it. A lot I can’t answer. I wish PopPop were closer, he might have more insights. Or Uncle Grub.
Life just rolls on. Construction continues. We live and smile.
Let’s go, Kiddo… the adventure continues.
