I like to pretend that 99% of you care what I write here. I doubt that. I bet if I set up a photo blog and a written blog, keeping them completely separated from each other, the photo blog would get 10 times more hits. This is more a record for J and I, so we can look and laugh back at this adventure. So, I write and editorialize and do this for us, but I know most of you are just here for the pictures. However, I ask you to think about that for a moment. What would the pictures mean with no context? Would you be happy with just pictures, making up your own context or storyline to fit your own narrative? I’ve been playing with the idea. I can set up a picture only site that I could just dump pics onto and not need to story tell or give narration to, gone are the days of formatting and making the pictures fit. No need to tell the story of those days and those pics. I can just dump and go. I can save this for writing our memorie...

On Friday, I headed to BASIS shortly after lunch for a little event at Kiddo’s school and with her class. They have been studying the world and different places and countries. Kiddo’s teacher is Belgian, Kiddo is American, some of the other kids are Thai, and there is a Chinese influence (and a few kids, but unsure if any in Kiddo class) as well. So, they did foods and facts from the world. Kiddo was most hyped for Belgian Waffles. As you can see, she is the BEST at mixing. Must have been all the pancake practice her and mumma do on Saturday mornings. Also, the class made chef hat to go with her expertly picked outfit that included the Tutu. The funny thing is, she told me that she was saving that tutu pacifically for that day. I double checked. Pacifically! We also got to make gyoza (dumplings) and Kiddo loved that. “It’s like a taco, only no guacamole.” The highlight, of course, was the waffle. S...
