First things first…. We headed out and traffic was nuts, but so was timing.  We had some issues to clear up with Nanny Beer and an apology for not listening and pushing.  So, those things took a little time as a certain someone didn’t want to apologize right away, so we got behind.  Instead of taking the train to the Chong Nonsi (Choang Non-see) we just got a Grab.  Quicker and easier.  Except for someone not liking being in the car in traffic. I had a Bangkok experience last night.   I went out with a few of the guys from the building last night.  We headed out to Green Day market for some food and drinks.  One of the old vets of Bangkok, Tony, knew a bar spot that was rad.  From there, we grabbed food.  Some meat on a stick.  Sticky rice.  Fried chicken wings.  Later, we got some fries in a spicy seasoning.  And beer.  Lots of beer.  Not couldn't walk or speak amounts of beer, but it was a lot of beer.  Everyone had a nice buzz going.   However, it was hot and sticky so we probably sweat out beer as quickly as we drank it.   Plus, we were crammed around this little table with little stools.   It was like something out of an old Anthony Bourdain show.   A bunch of guys eating market food and drinking beer with ice at an outdoor bar patio in a random SEA market. On top of that, we got there and I had sweat thru my shirt, it was hot and sticky. ...

I’ve been a gamer as long as I can remember.  So, raising a little gamer girl is a joy for me, because I love sharing that with her.  I’m glad J accepts it as well, as I dated people in the past who called it a waste of time.  Heck, my whole life I’ve been told it’s a waste of time.  Here’s the irony of it…. Those same people who tell me that will then sit and watch countless hours of TV and that’s not wasting time.  I’m puzzle solving and problem solving.  I’m active in my games.  Sure, some of it is casual and just chill, but mostly I life games with depth and problems to solve.  Final Fantasy.  Dragon Warrior (Now Dragon Quest).  Mega Man 1-6 (Figuring out the levels and boss order).   Shadow of the Colossus.  I prefer things that aren’t just button mashing, but even those have a place in my heart. I have fun with Kiddo from time to time.  Dad jokes.  Nose eating.  Bug bite on the toe… oh no!  Cut off the whole foot.  That type of stuff. Back in the day, when HBO had the Def Jam comedy shows , there was some good comedy there.  A classic set from Bernie Mack (RIP) with the lore that the crowd was rowdy that night, they weren’t laughing.  Martin couldn’t warm them up.  It was a rough crowd.  Bernie came out STRONG . (Watch at the 1:22ish mark..... can HEAR the crowd swing to Bernie and just love him from there, as he did this set on the fly and hammered it and it was pure genius.) A lot of it, however, is very dated and doesn’t age well.  Plus, Russel Simmons (The producer of Def Jam) got Me Too’d and HBO just buried the old stuff. It’s a shame, because in the years Martin Lawrence was hosting, had the Bernie stuff, but also Martin was great at MCing the event and loved to mess with the crowd.  He would roast...
